Terms of Service

Last updated: October 18, 2026

1. Who we are and what these terms cover

The Slow Stitch is operated by Abdelmajid Ayadi as an individual. Our contact mailing address is listed below. These terms cover our website, free learning resources, accounts and licenses for our digital crochet patterns.

Read these terms, our Privacy Policy, our Refund Policy and the product description before purchasing. You must have legal capacity to enter a purchase contract. An adult must make purchases for anyone who cannot legally do so.

2. Digital products and availability

Our paid products are downloadable crochet pattern PDFs, not finished toys, physical books, yarn or crochet kits. Each available listing describes the included files, language, sizes, difficulty and any photos or diagrams. Only the items expressly included in that listing form part of your purchase.

The shop is currently being prepared. Previews, demos and coming-soon listings are not available for purchase and do not promise a release date. Free lessons remain separate from paid pattern purchases.

3. Prices, checkout and payment

Patterns are sold individually for a one-time payment, with no recurring subscription. Listed prices are in US dollars. The checkout shows applicable taxes and the total before you pay. Your bank may apply its own conversion or transaction charges.

When available, payments are handled by Creem as merchant of record and contractual reseller. Creem’s Buyer Terms also apply to those transactions and prevail where they conflict with these product terms. We supply the pattern and provide product support. We do not receive your full card number.

Prices may change for future orders without changing a completed purchase. If an error prevents us from fulfilling an order as described, we will contact you and arrange an appropriate remedy or refund; we will not impose an additional charge without your agreement.

4. Accounts and delivery

Use an accurate email address and protect your login details. Purchase while signed into the account where you want your pattern stored. After successful payment confirmation, the purchased file is made available in My Patterns. Confirmation can take a short time; if access does not appear, contact us with your order reference.

You need an internet connection to download and a device or application that can open PDF files. Save a personal backup. We do not promise permanent hosting or uninterrupted service. If a service change affects access to an existing purchase, we will give reasonable notice where possible and provide an appropriate solution consistent with your rights.

5. Personal-use license

A purchase gives you a non-exclusive, non-transferable license to download, save and print the PDF for your own personal use. You may make items for yourself or as unpaid personal gifts. Commercial use, including selling items made using the pattern, is not permitted under this license; contact us before any proposed commercial use.

You may not share, upload, distribute, resell or sublicense the PDF, its instructions, photographs or diagrams, including modified or translated copies. Buying a pattern does not transfer copyright. These restrictions do not override uses permitted by applicable law.

6. Refunds and consumer rights

We offer a voluntary full-refund guarantee for requests made within 14 calendar days of purchase, including after downloading. See our Refund Policy for the request process and what happens to your license after a refund.

This guarantee is additional to mandatory consumer rights. Where statutory cancellation rights for immediate digital delivery may be waived, any legally required express consent and acknowledgement must be obtained through checkout; reading these terms alone does not waive those rights. Faulty, missing or misdescribed content remains subject to applicable legal remedies.

7. Pattern support and safe use

Email [email protected] for download problems, suspected pattern errors or questions about your purchase. We will respond within three business days. Individual crochet results vary with yarn, hook, tension and technique; this does not excuse an inaccurate product description or defective file.

Follow the pattern’s materials and safety guidance and use your own judgment about the suitability of a finished item. Small detachable parts can be hazardous to children. Our patterns do not certify finished toys or other items as meeting product-safety standards.

8. Acceptable use and account restrictions

Do not use the site to commit fraud, access another person’s account or files, distribute malicious software, bypass purchase controls or disrupt the service. We may restrict access where reasonably necessary to investigate misuse or protect users, and will explain the restriction when safe and lawful. Contact us if you believe a restriction is a mistake.

Account restrictions do not remove your mandatory consumer rights. A payment dispute may temporarily suspend access to the disputed pattern while it is reviewed.

9. Responsibility and disputes

We aim to provide accurate resources and a reliable service, but cannot guarantee that the website is always available or that every project will achieve a particular result. Nothing in these terms excludes responsibility that cannot lawfully be excluded, including applicable consumer guarantees, fraud or liability for negligence where protected by law.

Please contact us first so we can try to resolve a concern. You retain any rights to contact Creem, your payment provider, a consumer authority or a competent court. These terms do not require you to give up mandatory protections available in your country.

10. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms for future use and purchases and will show the revision date here. Material changes affecting existing accounts will be communicated where appropriate. Changes do not retrospectively reduce the license or refund promise agreed for a completed purchase without a lawful basis.
